The Blindman is proud to offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty as a reflection of our dedication to complete customer satisfaction.
The Blindman Products Standard Warranty
A limited lifetime warranty is extended to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship. No other warranty is implied or given by TBM. Slight warping and discoloration on all window covering products are considered normal and are not covered under the warranty. Acts of God and normal fading and abuse are not covered under the warranty. Strings and other parts that wear out over time are not defects, they are just normal “wear and tear”, but are covered for 7 years from the date of original installation. Service repairs performed or attempted by unauthorized service agents will void the warranty. We retain the right to make a factory inspection to determine the cause of the problem. Inspection must reveal a manufacturer defect to be a covered warranty repair. All repairs not covered under our warranty must be paid in full at time of service. TBM warranty includes in-home services for 1 year from the date of the original installation. After the first year, warranty services are offered at your location, a trip charge will be assessed for this service. Blinds needing service may be brought or sent into one of our service locations. All shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

The Blindman Custom Paint and Stain Policy
Paint- The choice of a custom color requires you, the customer, to supply a painted sample of the color to be matched.
Stain- Custom stain samples must be applied to the exact species of wood to be used in your order. At your request, your sales representative will supply you with a raw wood sample for you to stain and return to TBM as your “stain match sample”.
TBM will go to great effort to acquire the best possible stain and paint matches. But it is understood that it is not always possible to achieve a “perfect match” with all colors due to dye-lots, sheen difference, and fading or yellowing of existing paint. TBM will work to match the sample you have supplied to meet industry standards for paint matching. TBM cannot use paint or stain supplied by the customer, we use special formulations to achieve our finishes. You are responsible to make sure that the sample that you supply is the exact color you want to have matched. If not, and TBM is asked to rematch to a new sample, additional cost and labor charges may be added. After TBM has a good match you will be shown a sample of what has been matched for your job, and asked to sign off on it. Once you have given your okay, it will be your responsibility if you are dissatisfied with the color.
